Hi AI Community! Thanks to the presence of the project partners at the Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV) on the occasion of the Digital Manufacturing Industrial Summit (#DMIS 2023), AIDEAS has held its second plenary meeting. Representatives, researchers and technicians from Centre for Research & Technology Hellas (CERTH), UNINOVA, IKERLAN, Tampere University, Università Politecnica delle Marche, ITI – Instituto Tecnológico de Informática, Ce.S.I. Centro Studi Industriali, IANUS Simulation GmbH, XLAB, FundingBox, DIN Deutsches Institut für Normung e. V., PAMA S.p.A., D2 Technology, BMM Maschinenbau GmbH, Multiscan Technologies and Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV) have met in the complex of the Ciudad Politécnica de la Innovación (CPI) of the Vera Campus to share the first advances and results of our research, which is progressing at a good pace.

The AIDEAS project will develop AI technologies to support the entire life cycle of industrial equipment (design, manufacturing, use and repair/reuse/recycle) as a strategic instrument to improve the sustainability, agility and resilience of European machinery manufacturing companies.

During the meeting, various topics of interest were discussed, especially those related to solution architectures, our machine passport and the progress of the pilots.
