Hello, AI community!

Raúl Poler, Director of the CIGIP-UPV, and Technical Manager of the AIDEAS Project, participated in the Benicàssim Tech 2023 Artificial Intelligence & e-Math Workshop, which was held on September 20th and 21st in this wonderful city of the Valencian Community, Spain. Artificial intelligence (AI), Data Science, and applied mathematics are transforming our world. These disciplines are enabling efficient and sustainable digitization in business, industry, education, and society as a whole. To promote applied research and transfer in these areas, the Benicàssim Artificial Intelligence & e-Math workshop will bring together a select group of experts from different universities and companies in the sector. The workshop will feature invited talks, panel discussions, and paper presentations on a wide range of topics related to AI, data science, and applied mathematics. With the presentation entitled “AI-Driven Industries: the AIDEAS Horizon Europe project”, Raúl Poler introduced the attendees to the world of the European machinery industry and its needs, described the suites and solutions that AIDEAS will bring to the industry, and explained how the pilot companies of the project are contributing to validate the AIDEAS solutions.
