The AIDEAS project makes a significant impact at I-ESA 2024, taking place in Crete, Greece from April 10th to 12th. Our workshop, “AI Driven Industrial Equipment Product Life Cycle (AIDEAS),” will showcase six groundbreaking papers that highlight innovative AI technologies transforming every stage of industrial equipment’s life cycle—from production optimization to predictive maintenance. This initiative demonstrates our commitment to enhancing sustainability, agility, and resilience in European machinery manufacturing.
In addition to these contributions, Grigoris Tzionis from Centre for Research & Technology Hellas (CERTH) delivered an outstanding presentation on his paper, “Comparative Analysis of Feature Importance in Machine Learning Models for Predictive Maintenance.” His work explores advanced machine learning strategies to refine maintenance protocols, reinforcing the integration of cutting-edge AI applications in industrial systems.
The workshop also features key presentations from leading industry players. Ana Gómez from IKERLAN discusses AI-based solutions for industrial equipment use, while Samuel Afolaranmi from TAU explores novel approaches to optimize manufacturing processes. I-ESA 2024 provides an outstanding platform for exchanging visions, ideas, and experiences and for fostering valuable collaboration among experts in enterprise systems and applications.
